A Comparison of Models for Analyzing II–VI Group Nanomaterials Using DMR

The material produced through nanotechnology or having particles of nanoscale dimensions are known as nanoparticles. The nanomaterials are categorized into different groups based on their physical and chemical properties. Group II–VI nanoparticles gained much attraction because of their appreciable physical and chemical properties. These are used in semiconducting devices and optoelectronic applications. Different sources of nanomaterials are also explained in this paper with their characteristics. DMR (diffusivity-mobility ratio) has a central position in the field of nanoscience. It is because the diffusion constant is derived from DMR after calculating the mobility values. Diffusion constant is hard to determine through the experimental procedure, and thus, DMR helps in the accurate demining value of diffusion. Several models that use DMR to explore II–VI group nanomaterials have been reviewed in this research.
