Water Re-use

Rainwater tanks (also known as “rainwater harvesting”) are systems that collect precipitation and use it to partly satisfy household water needs, such as in times of drought. This helps to save potable water and alleviates environmental stress. Rainwater tanks may also lessen the amount of storm water runoff and contaminants that make it to downstream streams.
