Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
摘要
Governments and associated public bodies need to pay attention to and concentrate on a lot of topics and concerns in society. Given the recent acceleration of both industrialization and urbanisation, the need of prioritising sustainable development cannot be overstated. One definition of sustainable development is progress that does not compromise or harm existing social norms and values. To rephrase, it has been seen as taking care of current demands at the expense of future generations’ capacity to do the same (A. Capodaglio, A. Callegari, D. Cecconet, D. Molognoni Sustainability of decentralized wastewater treatment technologies Water Pract. Technol., 12 (2017), pp. 463–477). Poverty, environmental degradation, climate change, inequality, injustice, and many other difficulties have been faced by societies across the world. More sustainability and a brighter future for everyone might be achieved by following the SDGs in this area. A thorough evaluation of the local community and environment is necessary for the creation of more effective SDGs. Sustainable development strategies may need to adapt to the specific challenges faced by each nation or city (O.A. Malik, A. Hsu, L.A. Johnson, A. de Sherbinin A global indicator of wastewater treatment to inform the sustainable development goals (SDGs) Environ. Sci. Policy, 48 (2015), pp. 172–185).
