A Novel Hybrid Walrus-JAYA Algorithm for Weighted Economic Emission Dispatch on Dynamic System
摘要
Hazardous gases are released into the atmosphere during the production of electricity by fossil fuel-fueled generators. Power engineers must devise a compromised approach that reduces hazardous petrol emissions when electricity is generated economically, in addition to encouraging renewable energy sources. This research aims to formulate a fair trade-off strategy for resolving the environment-constrained economic dispatch (ECED) dilemma. To determine which method offers a better alternative resolution considering cost implications and hazardous gases generated, all three types of dispatch—economic, emission, and weighted—are run on a dynamic three-unit test system. A robust hybrid algorithm is created and utilized as the optimization tool by fusing the avaricious JAYA algorithm with an algorithm inspired by a walrus's food-seeking strategy. To conclude, the dominance of the hybrid optimization method suggested over current algorithms in the literature is supported by statistical research.
