This chapter details a pilot project, “eMemory Kits,” as a case study to enhance primary healthcare services in Hong Kong. The project demonstrates a collaborative, evidence-based approach to transform a conventional cognitive training tool, the Memory Treasury Hunt®, into a digital solution for people with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and dementia. Elderly end-users and diverse stakeholders, including service providers, technology developers, researchers, and healthcare practitioners, were actively engaged throughout the development and implementation process. Mixed methods were employed to gather feedback, test usability, assess acceptability among stakeholders and inform the refinement and application of the digital training kits. Evaluation results revealed high user satisfaction and acceptance among elderly end-users and staff in various care settings. The project offers valuable insights for developing and promoting the use of assistive technologies to facilitate ageing-in-place for the elderly.
