Development of a Multi-channel Wireless Wearable Muscle Oxygen Monitoring Device
摘要
Current muscle oximetry devices face limitations in wireless functionality and miniaturization, with cabling constraints hindering monitoring during extensive physical movements. To address these issues, this study has developed an innovative multi-channel wireless wearable muscle oximetry device. Designed to enhance flexibility and monitoring accuracy, the device utilizes an independent modular single-channel approach. Each module can communicate with a computer via WiFi independently, eliminating the need for physical cabling. This not only reduces the device’s size but also enables simultaneous monitoring of blood oxygen fluctuations in any part of the human body, significantly increasing the user’s freedom of movement during physical activities or other tasks. Through blood occlusion experiments and muscle fatigue experiment, we validated the effectiveness of this device in monitoring muscle oxygenation parameters under dynamic conditions. The results demonstrate that the system accurately captures changes in muscle tissue oxygenation, confirming its accuracy and stability in practical applications. Given its high adaptability and reliability, this multi-channel wireless wearable muscle oximetry system holds extensive potential applications in clinical diagnostics, sports science, and rehabilitative medicine.
