Pollution is one of the most serious threats to human life. It is the consequence of waste materials generated from agriculture and other industries. This study investigates the workability and strength performance of concrete including mineral admixtures from rice husk ash (RHA) and ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS). It has also been added to replace these additional cementitious components with ternary-blend binder concrete. Due to its widespread availability as waste from steel-producing factories all over the world, GGBS has received the most attention out of all the potential source materials. Cube specimens of the M40 grade were cast with rice husk ash and GGBS replacing 20% of the cement, respectively, at the following proportions: 0, 5, 10, 15, and 20. The workability and strength qualities of the material have been determined and the results are discussed in this study. The results reveal a significant improvement in strength attributes.

摘要
