This book delves into the design of low-complexity iterative receivers for non-orthogonal multi-carrier systems utilizing the principles from statistical signal processing and the theory of parameter estimation. Initially, Chap. 1 reviews the key concepts related to high spectral efficiency communication systems and receiver design, including FTN, SEFDM, MFTN, and IM. Chap. 2 explores message passing receivers for SEFDM signaling over multipath channels.
