The chapter further traces the history, growth and journey, and highlights the points that support and advocate for practicing blended learning in higher education. After discussing previous works on blended learning, the chapter discusses the book's central theme: the design, development, and practice of blended learning. The chapter presents a snapshot of all chapters and case studies and claims that if designed and developed well, blended learning has the potential to improve quality in higher education. The chapter also highlights multiple pathways to the practice and use of blended learning. In the end, the chapter narrates a unique feature of the book: reflective questions at the end of each chapter to assist the readers in making meaning and contextualizing the lessons and findings of the case studies.
