This chapter provides an up‐to‐date description of the formulation, implementation and applications of the Euler-Euler (E-E) two-fluid model (TFM) with mass and momentum exchange between the two phases. The detailed original kinetic theory of granular flow (KTGF) is presented as particles interact within the fluid phase and with the particles or walls. The hybrid models are presented, in which the frictional and collisional effects of particles are combined in a slightly different way, and stand out the granular kinetic theory in the dilute–dense regimes of fluid-particles multiphase flows.
