Optimization Methods for Merkle Tree in Blockchain
摘要
Blockchain technology is becoming increasingly important in various fields, especially in finance and decentralized transactions. Data integrity is a crucial factor in ensuring that transaction data is not altered or tampered with. The Merkle tree is a key tool in ensuring this integrity. This research builds and optimizes variations of the Merkle tree, such as the Sparse Merkle Tree, Merkle Sum, and Patricia Merkle Tree. We propose the Merkle Sparse_Sum Tree, a combination of the previous two variations, implemented in TypeScript. The results show that all variations are effective, with the proposed variation yielding the best results and promising applications in financial and banking transactions.
