This chapter elaborates on pedagogical design, focusing on four key designPedagogical design areas: learning content, activities, support, and assessmentAssessment. Learning content is the subject matter that students engage with. It needs to be highly relevant and interactive. Learning activities are what students do. Different learning objectives require different learning activities. Learning support encompasses various forms of assistance students need in the learning process, including instructional, social, and technical aspects. AssessmentAssessment concerns with the improvement of learning processes and judgement of learning outcomes. Before the elaboration of the design areas, fundamental concepts like pedagogyPedagogy, pedagogical approaches, and pedagogical changes are explained.
