Equipments for Electrochemical Wastewater Treatment

Wastewater treatment being the most crucial process for ensuring public health, economical values, environmental sustainability to different societies has contributed in different cases in the development of the societies and its association in human life. The study undertakes the need to continue research and new measures to address emerging contaminants in wastewater and enhance treatment efficiency and also contributed to the increasing demands for the effective wastewater treatment methods that has driven exploration of advanced technologies. Over decades and as technology kept on growing, the exploration of different techniques for electrochemical wastewater treatment has come into existence. We aim to evaluate the efficiency of using all the electrochemical reactors in the removal of pollutants in water under their varying operational conditions. The methods involve the use of different electrodes, current densities, chemical reactions, electric field, membranes etc., the results obtained optimize significant removal efficiencies for contaminants like heavy metals, organic compounds, inorganic compound, pathogens etc. The study utilizes electrocoagulation wastewater method, electrofiltration method, electroflotation method of wastewater treatment which has provided promising roles in their capabilities of removing pollutants from water, their benefits particularly to industries seeking sustainable and cost effectiveness wastewater management solutions. Based on the different research conducted on this topic, the system conducted a virtual approach for wastewater treatment offering valuable solutions to different fields where they can be applicable.
