This work expands the conventional understanding of subway stations by introducing innovative design strategies that prioritize spatial organization, crowd management, urban context integration, and multimodal transportation options. Traditional guidelines often neglect these critical aspects, focusing instead on layouts, materials, lighting, and capacity. Drawing on global examples that challenge these norms, this work advocates for flexible, context-specific approaches inspired by past architectural movements. By promoting creativity and adaptability from concept to construction, it provides a comprehensive road map for integrating urban planning, lighting design, and public health elements, ultimately transforming subway stations into vibrant, multifunctional spaces.
