The purpose of this study was to understand the initiation, structure, and needs of the Ministry of Health in general, and how it was established in the United Arab Emirates. We also sought to identify the achievements of the Ministry of Health in the UAE. We used articles in academic journals, newspapers, and official organizational and governmental websites to collect accurate data on the subject. As a result, the Ministry of Health in the UAE was established with the birth of the United Arab Emirates in 1971, and since then, ten ministers have worked hard to bring health care to the high level we have today. In conclusion, the Ministry of Health is a regulatory entity with the aim of providing comprehensive, world-class healthcare to all individuals living in the country.
