A Holistic Ecosystem of Health and Healthcare: Spirit, Mind and Body
摘要
The aim of this chapter is to discuss the inclusion of spirituality as part of the holistic ecosystem of health and healthcare. This is explored through the lens of the Ancient Indigenous Wisdoms of the Australian First Nations People. First, a reflection on the relationship between the 3P agencies of health and healthcare and the 6Ls of Ancient Indigenous Wisdoms is undertaken (see Chaps. 11 and 12 ). A second reflection is undertaken of the relationship between the 6Ls of Ancient Indigenous Wisdoms and the modes of cognition, methods of action and tenets of lead(er)ship identified in the ecologies assembled to explain the implications of the adoption of a Complexity science lens (see Chaps. 8 , 9 , 10 ). The conclusion reached is that, before a truly inclusive holistic ecosystem of health and healthcare can be imagined, there is need to add the spiritual to the mind-body focus of mainstream Western approaches to health and healthcare.
