摘要

In the era of the 4.0 industrial revolution, it is inevitable that the newly developed technologies use electric energy, which means that we are increasingly dependent on electricity. Therefore, the research and development of power consumption monitoring systems is essential to optimize usage and avoid causing incidents in the power grid because serious incidents can lead to fire and explosion. In order to prevent and maximize the ability to control the above situation, this paper proposes an Internet of Things-based (IoT-based) system to remotely monitor data changes and abnormalities in voltage, current, power, etc. in real time and give timely warnings. The system consists of four parts: electricity data collection nodes, gateways, cloud platforms and mobile applications (apps). Basic electricity data is collected by nodes and uploaded to the cloud platform via gateways. The cloud platform can store, quickly organize and analyze real-time collected electric energy information, display image data to users in real time using Web technology, and provide data query and fault reporting functions. The proposed and designed system is experimentally operated in a house with the aim of helping users monitor electrical appliances in the house, make statistics, and chart the amount of electricity consumed for each appliance and for the whole house.
