European public service media faces the challenges posed by digital transformation, adopting strategies that include the implementation of agile organisational models. These models aim to foster creativity and experimentation in the development of new content formats. Considering these aspects, this study focusses on analysing the operations of the innovation lab at Radiotelevisión Española (RTVE) and the multidisciplinary Info35 team at Radio Télévision Suisse (RTS), with the objective of understanding their production logic and resulting content offerings. To achieve this, the research employs a qualitative methodology based on case studies and in-depth interviews with the deputy director of the innovation lab at RTVE and the digital news coordinator at RTS. The results show how these new organisational models contribute to fostering innovation and the adaptability of public service media to new forms of consumption, overcoming the inherent difficulties of traditional corporate structures, which are often mechanical and inflexible.
