The Role of Communication in Public Acceptability of AI in Medical Diagnostics: A Discourse Analysis
摘要
Artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming many aspects of modern society, including the healthcare sector. This study investigates the public perception of AI integration in medical diagnosis, focusing on ethical considerations and social acceptance. Using a mixed-method approach involving media monitoring, interviews and focus groups, the research explores the balance between the efficiency of AI-based diagnostics and the need for patient-centered care. The results reveal optimism about the potential of AI to improve diagnostic accuracy and reduce medical errors, but also highlight concerns about data privacy and ethical use. The study concludes that the effective application of AI in healthcare requires a hybrid approach that combines technological advances with human empathy and ethical standards. Policies and regulations must ensure transparency, data protection, and ongoing training of healthcare professionals to achieve social acceptance and trust in AI applications.
