Artificial Intelligence (AI) has had a significant impact on the writing of scientific articles, positively affecting learning in university students by providing tools that enhance their performance. AI has the potential to simplify stages in the process of writing scientific articles such as literature review, identification of research problems, and analysis of results. This article presents the results of a learning experience using AI with undergraduate students in the field of audiovisual communication in the process of conducting scientific research. The analysis of perceptions about self-efficacy in learning, academic commitment, and participation included semi-structured interviews as a technique to analyze students’ perceptions.
