Continued Adoption of Digital Wallets by Traditional Grocery Retailers’ Users

This research addresses the factors that influence consumers who use digital wallets to make purchases at traditional grocery retailers. Although variables such as satisfaction and brand image have been previously analyzed, there is little research that relates adoption intention to variables such as perceived security or trust. Therefore, the present study aimed to analyze how perceived security, perceived usefulness and social influence affect the behavioral intention that impacts the continued adoption of digital wallets in traditional grocery retailers’ users. This was done based on quantitative research with surveys applied to 250 people of gen Z. The results of the research showed the high impact of perceived usefulness on the behavioral intention to adopt digital wallets.
