There is a clear opportunity gap after the COVID-19 pandemic, the ravages and changes in habits experienced during that period were radical. Society went from being face-to-face to digital-virtual very quickly. This evolution transformed all the actors involved in the different social structures, thus generating risk factors as well as difficulties in the use of technologies by citizens. As an objective of this study, we reflect on the social challenges faced by citizens when linking with technologies; we also identify some of the digital and virtual tools that contribute to the change and use of technology in society, as well as the conceptualization of artificial intelligence and virtualization factors in the global contingency.
