A network of mobile geochemical observation was set up in the epicenter and the related tectonic zone to obtain data on fluid geochemical observation in the fault zone in the measurement area, analyze the changes of geochemical characteristics of the tectonic zone before and after the earthquake, give a map of the spatial and temporal characteristics of geochemical in the region, and the characteristics of fluid release intensity of the fault zone in the area. In combination with the per-seismic observation data, the material source and the change of water–rock reaction degree in the seismic area before and after the earthquake are given, and the short-term prediction opinions of earthquake risk in the epicenter and related tectonic areas are given.
