Filter Design Based on Memristive Family

Memristive components, including memristors, memcapacitors, and meminductors, represent a paradigm shift in electronic circuit design. These novel elements, characterized by their ability to “remember” past states, offer unique nonlinear dynamics and history-dependent behavior. Memristors, first theorized by Leon Chua in 1971 and physically realized by HP Labs in 2008, exhibit a relationship between charge and magnetic flux. Memcapacitors and meminductors extend this concept to capacitive and inductive elements, respectively. Their nonlinear characteristics and inherent memory effects provide new degrees of freedom in circuit design, potentially leading to more efficient and compact electronic systems.
