Multivariate Adaptive Model Predictive Control of Thermal Power Boiler-Turbine System

In this paper, an adaptive model predictive control (AMPC) method is proposed for thermal power generation boiler-turbine systems to overcome model mismatch. The model predictive control is introduced into the boiler-turbine system to improve the control quality. In order to compensate for the influence of actual system parameter changes on the control effect, an auxiliary controller based on the model reference adaptive method is designed to compensate for the predicted inputs, so that the actual state of the system can quickly track the predicted state. The stability analysis of the AMPC controller is given in detail. Finally, simulations demonstrate the reliability and advantages of the proposed strategy.
