摘要

Nutrition, considered the silhouette of health and development, is essential throughout the bio ecosystems. The exquisite details of the prognosis and development of cancer have heralded into patronizing the quintessential role of microbiome. Gut architecture devises the outcomes of health and disease, which is now conclusively accepted in both communicable and non-communicable diseases. This understanding of complex diseases now encompasses not only genetic and immunological factors, but also the critical role of the microbial community in their development and progression. The molecular and cellular signatories relying on the physiological pulse of the host additionally concur a powerful modulation of health or disease based on the extraneous features of diet and nutrition of the individuals. This chapter aggregates the aspects of the nutrition-directed gut–immunology–oncology axes weathering the therapeutic outcomes. Priming the nutrition-gut-immuno-oncology axis entwines the strategic clinico-molecular aspects of leveraging the nutritional interventions to rebound gut parameters towards healthy states. This results in tuning the immune system functions, thereby enhancing the treatment efficacies and positive outcomes of nutrition science, microbiome research, oncology studies, and theragnostics.
