Pleomorphic Adenoma of a Subconjunctival Ectopic Lacrimal Gland
摘要
A 13-year-old girl reported a painless, slowly growing swelling in the lateral fornix of the right eye for the last 6 months. It was firm, nodular, nontender, nonpulsatile, and irreducible. It was excised surgically and was established histopathologically to be a pleomorphic adenoma of an ectopic lacrimal gland arising subconjunctivally. To our knowledge, this is probably the first reported case of such a lesion.
