This paper presents the CBRN Emergency Management System. This is a software system to be used by first responders to accidents or crises involving chemical, biological, or nuclear hazards. It was developed and tested having in mind accidents that may happen in port areas, with a mix of densely populated areas and waterfronts. The system integrates data from Unnamed Systems developed by this research team to operate in hazardous environments and with other portable data collection systems. The sensors used include chemical sensors for various gases and radiological sensors, besides standard optical and navigation sensors. It has a simple to use Graphic User Interface, developed to the specification of first responders that generates heat maps with concentrations of hazardous agents. The system was tested in two emergency response exercises, and we received very positive feedback from operational first responders.

摘要
