The main aim of the current study has been to verify the validity of hybrid training, that is, training based on virtual simulators and real military instruction sessions. This is due to the educational trend offered by the industry, which becomes a fundamental alternative of learning that improves skills and requires a lower investment cost. The training results correlate factual facts from real and virtual training, with transversal concepts from the field of psychology and neuroscience. Hereby, a statistical and correlational analysis of certain psychological characteristics of the people has been applied, who were part of the team subjected to the hybrid training. The results of the application of psychological batteries that evaluate attention, levels of tolerance to interference, visual-motor coordination and personality traits are related to the academic results that those investigated achieved during part of their military training. Subsequently, these results have been correlated with the effectiveness of the use of firearms in virtual and later real training. During the virtual training, the investigated kept transducer sensors (electrodes) in their brains, connected to the EMOTIV device (portable electroencephalograph) that monitored the brain reaction in each shooting training activity in the virtual simulator. The results achieved indicate the validity of education and training based on virtual simulators.; In addition, they allow characterizing the personality of an individual who is undergoing an educational process of military training.

摘要
