This chapter will outline the key areas of nursing for stroke patients. It will encompass care across the stroke pathway from hyper-acute care, acute stroke care and rehabilitation. It will provide evidence-based guidance on the role of nurses in the monitoring, prevention of complications and supporting rehabilitation.
