Pronunciation is the most basic and complex subject in English learning. Traditional English pronunciation classes emphasize the need to master the essence of pronunciation through repeated and mechanical exercises. However, with the advancement of society and the deepening of the concept of informatization, pronunciation teaching Methods and means are constantly updated and developed, and the visual speech software Praat is one of them. This article explores its effectiveness in English pronunciation teaching through teaching experiments. By analyzing the Praat speech software, it is proposed to apply it to English pronunciation classroom, allowing learners to perceive intuitive language information using a combination of audio and video, aiming to improve students’ English pronunciation learning efficiency.
