Specific Aspects of MOOC's Use in Czech Universities

The paper discusses selected aspects of the MOOC innovative phenomenon that enable universities to enhance educational offerings through strategic planning and resource allocation. The article approaches the issue as a specific form of student mobility study at the Faculty of Informatics and Management. Authors have gained a lot of experience and they intend to share it through the presentation of the scenario. In this case study, authors present in detail a proven functional scenario for the implementation of Coursera courses into the university study system. A total of 1,214 courses were enrolled by individual users between October 2022 and May 2023. 658 of these courses were successfully completed by May 10, 2023. As of this date, 50 students earned credits under the terms of the Dean's directive. As traditional educational paradigms shift towards more inclusive and technology-driven models, the role of platforms like Coursera becomes increasingly critical in shaping the future of education.
