In contemporary research and development, virtual reality (VR) and 3D simulations stand out as cutting-edge technologies. This paper centers on leveraging 3D simulations within the unreal engine to craft an innovative simulator tailored for training defense cadres in the Army, Navy, and Air Force. Traditional training methods face challenges in meeting the evolving demands of new technologies and equipment. Hands-on training involving ammunition, artillery, jets, tanks, and submarines has persisted for many years, but its drawbacks, notably high costs, have become increasingly apparent. The burgeoning trend of VR technology is becoming integral to our daily lives, finding extensive applications in digital shopping, e-Commerce, gaming experiences, and beyond. This paper posits VR as a cost-effective and scalable alternative for developing training simulators. The designed simulator addresses practical issues inherent in traditional training methods, offering solutions to reduce training costs, mitigate the risk of mishaps, facilitate scalability for accommodating more trainees, and curtail future maintenance expenses. This research paper explores the transformative potential of VR and 3D simulations in defense training, showcasing how these technologies not only enhance training effectiveness but also provide a sustainable solution to longstanding challenges in traditional training methodologies.

摘要
