Innovation Adoption in Learning Technologies: Unraveling the Connection

This research paper explores the intricate relationship between innovation and the adoption of learning technologies within the realm of education. Focusing on generative AI, workspace stimulation tools, and learning analytics, the paper synthesizes existing literature, empirical evidence, and survey findings to provide a comprehensive analysis of the current landscape of technology integration in education. Beginning with a historical background, the paper traces the evolution of learning technologies from computer-based systems to the advent of e-learning platforms, highlighting significant milestones and paradigm shifts in educational practices. The literature review examines key findings and research gaps related to generative AI, workspace stimulation tools, and learning analytics, emphasizing their transformative potential and challenges in adoption. Through a survey in India, the paper gathers empirical evidence on participants’ familiarity, adoption, and perceptions of teaching–learning technologies.
