Learning and development (L&D) play a pivotal role in reskilling and upskilling employees. In today’s era, neglecting skill development poses a substantial risk to organizational growth and productivity. To address skill availability concerns, the organizations need to strategically implement a comprehensive training initiative focused on developing technical talent and shaping the future leadership landscape. This paper describes a training initiative that has been built based on the 4E framework (Education, Exposure, Experience, Environment) which aims to increase the senior technical resource pipeline and groom the consultants to be prepared for senior level positions in the organizations. This training initiative has cultivated over 300+ technical talents, generating more than 40+ innovation ideas. Numerous individuals and innovation success stories affirm the program’s efficacy in meeting skill development goals and fostering a culture of continuous growth within the organization. This paper describes this unique program and delves into learning innovation and design to address concerns about essential skills scarcity. The key questions addressed in this paper are:
