摘要

To conduct data mining on traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) prescriptions for diabetes using the Apriori algorithm, combined with the theory of Five Flavors (sweet, sour, bitter, spicy, salty) in the Jin Tang Hua Ye (JTHY) system, in order to identify patterns of TCM combinations for diabetes-related symptoms. Firstly, the collected TCM cases for treating diabetes were organized and preprocessed to construct a "Diabetes Traditional Chinese Medicine Compound Database.“ The Apriori algorithm was then employed for large-scale data mining and analysis. Secondly, the Five Flavors compound algorithm was utilized to analyze the compatibility of herbal pairs from a TCM perspective. Analysis of TCM cases for treating diabetes revealed the most frequently used single herbs and herbal pairs. Finally, 11 sets of binary associations, 14 sets of ternary associations, and 4 sets of quaternary associations with strong correlations were discovered.
