Managing and delivering educational courses through the software platform in this modern world is achieved by a learning management system, or LMS. It is a client-server system that is often web-based and used to manage student enrollment, course content distribution, test and assignment administration, and associated record keeping. An LMS is especially helpful for training or course delivery that is conducted entirely online. This paper has two goals in mind. In the beginning, we give a general review of learning management systems, including their architecture and other aspects. We may determine the software specs for a new LMS using this information. This article's second goal is to discuss the development of our own LMS. The requirements specified are implemented by this new LMS. File uploading, messaging, course registration, course building, quiz generating, and download capacity are among the LMS's key features. There are many different file kinds that may be downloaded or submitted, making it simple to submit assignments and post courses. The LMS messaging system makes it possible for students and instructors to communicate quickly. The system features an assessment engine that creates quizzes. For both students and teachers, login features are activated. A variety of pupils can benefit from LMS. Numerous programs may be combined with it, and it is customizable. Model view controller (MVC) concepts are utilized to create an LMS.
