SEEDBOT: A Robotic Solution for Precision Seed Sowing

As day by day the labor availability becomes a great concern for farmers, advancement in agricultural tools is essential for change. The proposed device reduces labor costs while expanding the perfect conditions for seed planting and burrowing. The main purpose of the work presentation is to arrange the seed and manure in rows and keep the distance between the seeds, to cover the seed with soil, and to ensure a good seed density. In order to achieve optimal yields, the recommended row spacing, sowing rate, seed spacing, and seed placement depth vary depending on the crop and different agro-climatic conditions. Equipped with sensors and data collection mechanisms, the Agribot can gather real-time information on soil conditions, seed germination rates, and growth progress. This valuable data empowers farmers to make informed decisions, optimize their sowing practices, and achieve higher crop yields. By automating the seed sowing process, the Agribot reduces labor-intensive tasks, minimizes human error, and ensures uniform seed distribution.
