Low-Cost Facial Gesture-Based Robotic Limb
摘要
In the contemporary era of rapid technological advancements, including Robotics, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence, there is a crucial need for cost-effective devices to assist differently abled individuals. Many underprivileged individuals, having lost limbs, struggle to afford prosthetic or advanced artificial limbs. This study proposes an innovative and affordable solution by using facial gestures to activate a robotic limb. This approach not only addresses financial constraints but also aids those who face challenges in expressing emotions, especially after a tragic event. The method involves a voice-activated assistant interpreting facial gestures and triggering corresponding actions in the wrist, significantly improving communication for those with verbal expression difficulties.
