Enhance IoT Security: A Blockchain and Chameleon Hashing-Based Scheme for Authentication
摘要
With the rapid development and wide application of the Internet of Things, its terminals are widely distributed, numerous, complex, and involve multiple domains. Compared with traditional Internet terminals, they are more vulnerable to attacks, and their security management and control face more serious risks. Identity authentication, as the primary line of defense for securing IoT terminals, plays an irreplaceable role in ensuring the security of the Internet of Things. However, existing schemes still have shortcomings in authentication efficiency, performance overhead, and security features. These issues not only affect the overall performance and user experience of IoT systems but may also pose a security threat to the system. This paper proposes a blockchain based cross domain identity authentication scheme for IoT terminals to address these issues. Design a cross domain identity authentication protocol utilizing blockchain technology within the Internet of Things, and provide a comprehensive explanation of the process at each stage of the scheme. Simultaneously introducing an identity management mechanism based on certificateless cryptography, and designing a mutual identity authentication and key negotiation protocol using elliptic curve cryptography and chameleon hashing. The proposed scheme’s correctness was formally proven, and its security and efficiency were verified through security and performance analysis.
