A Privacy-Preserving and Efficient Fuzzy Range Query Processing Scheme on Cloud Server

摘要

Range query processing is a kind of cloud service and computing used in the Internet of things (IoTs), which can obtain user-interest information from storage devices with a large amount of data. However, there are still some problems in the security and efficiency of range query processing. In this paper, we propose a privacy-preserving and efficient fuzzy range query processing scheme on cloud server, which utilizes technologies such as nonuniform range partition, binary search tree (BST) and lightweight data conversion method to achieve privacy protection for user query ranges and perception data by performing fuzzy transformation on user queries. Through experimental comparison, our scheme can not only protect query privacy, but also improve the performance of real-time queries and responses.
