Secure Cloud Album: Design and Implementation

Cloud album applications offered by different cloud service providers are widely used by organizations and individuals. These applications allow users to upload and manage their photos in real-time. As a result, they offer users a photo backup function while reducing the storage cost of their mobile devices. However, these applications currently suffer from security vulnerabilities in both cloud storage and cloud sharing functionalities, which poses a threat to user privacy. To address these issues, this paper introduces a novel photo album application. Specifically, it prioritizes the security of storage by implementing encryption on the images before they are uploaded to the cloud. The proposed application supports encrypted storage and browsing of images in the cloud. Additionally, this paper conducts comprehensive experimental tests on the proposed application, demonstrating its outstanding compatibility and scalability.
