A Novel Chirp Modulation Scheme for Multiuser Communication Systems
摘要
In this work, a new multiuser modulation scheme called time-division multiuser chirp modulation (TD-MCM) is proposed. In this scheme, every user is assigned a unique chirp signal with time-division chirp rate. The cross-correlation functions among the employed chirp signals are derived, which suggests fairly good orthogonality among these signals. Moreover, the performance of the proposed scheme is also evaluated against that of traditional MCM via simulations. The simulation results show that the proposed scheme can efficiently reduce multiple access interference. The performance gain is more significant for systems with smaller time-bandwidth product.
