In this paper, a fuzzy logic controller and P&O algorithm are utilized to examine the performance of a PV system under various irradiances. Under various irradiances, the PV array exhibits nonlinear voltage–current characteristics. The advanced controllers have the capacity to control nonlinear irregularity and produce desired results. A comparative performance analysis is done based on fuzzy logic and P&O controller under island mode for the specified resistive load range in order to achieve a better response. The energy extracted can be utilized for various purposes when stored in ESS. A system is designed for the storage of the energy. The performance analysis is verified in MATLAB/Simulink environment.
