Implementation and Performance Evaluation of Intermittent Bilateral Reactive Power Variation Islanding Detection Technique in Hybrid Microgrid
摘要
In order to overcome the difficulties involved in combining renewable energy sources (RES) with traditional power networks, hybrid microgrid (HMG) has emerged as a possible alternative. However, in order to ensure the system’s stability and durability, HMG needs efficient islanding detection (ID) algorithms. Implementation and performance assessment of an intermittent bilateral reactive power (RP) variation ID technique in HMG is presented in this research. The proposed strategy changes the PCC frequency by injecting RP on a periodic basis. In order to get rid of the NDZ, the amount of RP injection is calculated. To estimate the effectiveness of suggested technique to identify islanding in HMG under various settings, simulation, and experimental findings based on IEEE Standards 929 and 1547, tests were carried out.
