In this competitive world, every individual runs for their livelihood. In that busy pathway, each field requires recognition to prove its uniqueness in its relevant field. Awards are the specified recognition presented as a token, to recognize the excellence of the receiver in any field. It also serves as an encouraging element to make this work involved fruitfully in the future. Now, it is the responsibility of the organization which honors the awardee, to see that it reaches the suitable person. Various factors are involved in the recognition process of the awardee. The multi-criteria decision-making algorithm finds its application in many real-life situations in finding a suitable solution. This provides a solution to situations with uncertainty. This chapter aims to bring about a method to list out various factors in which the award selection is made and the criteria related to it. Then in the process of identifying the best teacher awardee the procedure of PROMETHEE method is applied. The selection of awardees is done based on the ranks obtained at the end of the process. PROMETHEE method of the MCDM algorithm is thus applied in finding the awardee of the teacher.
