Choosing the appropriate medical company within the healthcare industry is crucial for maintaining the quality of patient care, operational effectiveness, and the reputation of the organization. It directly influences the availability of top-notch products, efficient procedures, and inventive approaches, thereby improving the delivery of healthcare services and overall outcomes. Collaborating with reputable companies cultivates confidence among stakeholders and stimulates innovation in healthcare, ultimately propelling advancements in patient care. Incorporating fuzziness in the decision-making process allows for the consideration of ambiguity and uncertainty inherent in real-world healthcare circumstances. To enhance the process of choosing medical companies within the healthcare industry, this study recommends determining the best option using the fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (fuzzy AHP) and fuzzy Multi-Objective Optimization on the Basis of Ratio Analysis (fuzzy MOORA) method. In this chapter, we employ the fuzzy AHP to determine the normalized weight attribute and subsequently utilize the fuzzy MOORA approach, for the selection process in the health sector. The best medical company selection procedure involves the assessment of seven criteria, each with four alternatives. The normalization process is applied to obtain the weighted normalized fuzzy decision matrix. Beneficial and non-beneficial criteria are computed for each choice, and an overall performance index is derived. Based on the descending values of the overall performance index, the alternatives are ranked from best to worst in the final table. The study concludes that the alternative with the highest overall performance index is the most favorable choice. This chapter also discusses the implications of the case study and sensitivity analysis.
