Sanctions Related to International Air Transport and International Law

As a mode of economic sanctions against an international wrongful acts, States often imposed measures in the field of international air transport including interdiction flights. This chapter considers these measures in depth from the point of international law including GATS Annex on Air Transport Services. As a case study, it focuses upon sanctions against Libya in the Cases of the Pan Am Flight 103 and UTA Flight 772.
