International Law and Religion as “International Public Goods”: A Study of the Responses to the Russian Aggression Against Ukraine and the Mediation by the Vatican in the Beagle Channel Crisis

This chapter considers the responses by States to the Russian aggression against Ukraine from the perspectives of international law. It also touches upon the Forgotten US-Soviet Agreement on the Prevention of Nuclear War, and considers mediation, particularly that by Vatican in the Beagle Channel Crisis, as a means of peaceful settlement of international disputes.
