Algebraic interpolation method is widely used in almost all CAE tools because of its high computing efficiency and well meshing uniformity. Firstly, the advantages and disadvantages of transfinite mapping method are given, according to the disadvantages, a segmental-based transfinite mapping method is prompted, which is of great value for engineering analysis. Secondly, the computing methods of node in Parametric Domain and Physical Domain are described, Finally the reliability and quality of the prompted method are confirmed by comparing with other CAE toos. This method has been applied in thermo-structural coupling analysis for axis-symmetrical components of aero-engine, Results show that the prompted method is effective, reliable and fully meets the needs of FEM.
